I fly into this seldom visited east African nation. For my first day, I amble around Djibouti City, taking in the sights, sounds and chaos. Day two sees me driving West to Lake Assal, a huge salt lake that is Africa’s lowest point. source
I fly into Muscat for 48 hours. After getting used to the eye-watering expensiveness of the place, I see the sights including, the opera house, Qurum Beach, the Sultan’s Palace, Muttrah Souq, the Fish Market, the Grand Mosque, the Corniche and Muttrah Fort. source
